We spent a few days in Portland and this was by far our favorite restaurant for both food and experience. The ambience is beautiful.... You walk in to gorgeous and huge saltwater fishtank. The host saw us arrive and quickly shuffled over and found us our preferred seating. We started with amazing oysters. Maine cold water oysters are the best. We ended up ordering a few more. We had to have their clam chowder which was meaty and delicious. We finished with splittong the lobster fradiavlo - loaded with lobster and just a little kick. I'd come back just for that. And the oysters 😀 Bar was fast and perfect. We really enjoyed our experience and dinner here.read more

I had to post another review of this wonderful restaurant. The standards remain high. I’ll stick by my original post - again, I just... had the best lobster roll in the State of Maine. Period - don’t bother going anywhere else.read more

We had a lovely dinner! We needed a place with great oysters but also menu items for non-fish eaters. Old Port checked our boxes. The... seared scallops with lentils was delicious. The steak frites was perfectly cooked. Our service was timely and friendly. A great choice.read more

Good food. I had the fish and chips. Light batter, flaky and not greasy. Fries were excellent but way to many for me🙂
